FAQs

There are many questions we are often asked. Some of the most popular are: Where is your church? How many people attend? What about parking? Although it would be much better to talk in person and answer those questions (and any others you may have), here are some answers to the most frequently asked questions!

Where is your church?

We meet at 840 Silas Deane Hwy., in Wethersfield, CT.  We lease the first floor of the building. And yes, it used to be a hardware/autoparts store called Manny’s. View the gallery below to see the inside of our facility.  We are sure that you will be pleasantly surprised to find it comfortable and inviting.

How big is the church?

We have people that attend Sunday services, bibles studies, small groups, and events at different times and different days, but on Sunday mornings, we have about 50-60 people who worship with us regularly. We spend lots of energy bringing the love of Christ in tangible ways to our community and expect that God will continue to grow us as we reach out. On Sundays, in addition to worship, we have a biblically-based Sunday School class for kids in Grades 1-6 and a nursery for the younger ones. Kids in Grade 7 and above are encouraged to join our Youth group.

What are services like?

Sunday morning services are informal and contemporary. Most people start their time on Sundays in our cafe having coffee before church and then make their way into our sanctuary for worship at 10am. We begin our service with a time of worship through music for adults and children. Everyone begins in our sanctuary together and then our kids leave for Sunday School about 10:30am. Our music is not flashy and loud, but is intentionally designed to help you enter into the presence of God. We sing contemporary songs of worship that are easy to follow along. Our sermons are biblically-based and engaging. Service ends with a time of fellowship in our cafe with coffee and refreshments.

What about parking?

We have lots of parking available for Sunday services and weekly events. Our front parking lot is small, but there is plenty of additional parking space available in the back of the building as well as in the parking lots of the buildings near us for you to use.
